The database update has not yet completed

Hi,

ich migriere gerade ein phpBB 3.0.x auf 3.1.1 (das vorher ein phpBB2 war, das ich erfolgreich auf phpBB 3.0.12 gebracht habe). Wie in der Anleitung beschrieben, alles bis auf config und 3 Ordner gelöscht und 3.1.1 hochgeladen.

Dabei gab es erst ein Problem mit dem ascii-Modus, was ich nach einem Eintrag in der htaccess beheben konnte:
AddHandler php55-cgi .php

Danach database_update.php aufgerufen. Seitdem kommt eine Meldung in diesem Stil:

The database update has not yet completed.

Begann mit irgendwas um release_3_0_0_rc1 und mit jedem Klick geht es einen Zähler höher. Hab beim Googlen irgendwas mit einem htaccess-Problem gefunden, aber nicht wirlich verstanden. Zumal ich ja die von phpBB 3.1.1 verwende und nur um den AddHandler ergänzt habe.

läuft es denn durch, wenn Du diesen Eintrag aus der .htaccess wieder entfernst?

Könnte schon sein, dass es an dem Handler für die PHP Version liegt...

Wenn ich den Handler rausnehme, erhalte ich ja eine andere Fehlermeldung, weil die php-Version zu niedrig ist...

Ich kämpf mich weiter durch, mal schauen, ob es irgendwann endet. Aktuell:
