MOD Description: phpBB Social Network is a modification for phpBB3 boards, which turns your website to self-hosted and full valued social network. It will create your own small Facebook like page with all main features of social networks such as:
- extended user profiles include Wall (writing statuses and comments), personal information, list of friends and family, user statistics and more
- activity stream page displaying recent activities of all your friends, suggesting people you may know, displaying recent discussions etc.
- private instant messenger to chat with your friends
- friends management system, creating groups of friends
- notifications about yours and your friends activities
- personal galleries and albums, profile pictures (not implemented yet)
- creating groups (not implemented yet)
- creating events and inviting others (not implemented yet)
- writing own blogs (not implemented yet)
- "sharing", "likeing" and even more (not implemented yet)

This modification is modular based what means that admin can switch on/off each of the modules above. If you want just Instant Messenger on your site, you can install the whole phpBB Social Network and switch on only the Instant Messenger or other module which you like.

The installation of phpBB Social Network takes only a minute. You just have to copy all new files to your phpbb root, modify few template files and run the database update script. phpBB Social Network is also AutoMOD friendly it means that you can install it using AutoMOD in few seconds. If you need more instructions how to install, we have prepared the Installation Guide for you.

Features list:
User profile
- extended user profiles are divided to 4 tabs - Activity, Personal Info, Friends and Statistics
- on the left, there is a menu with basic actions, lists of relationships, members of family and 10 random friends
- in the top there is a username, online/offline status and some other basic actions such as Send PM or Send emote
Activity tab - screenshot
- users can write statuses
- their friends can comment these statuses
- their friends can leave a message on user's wall
- users can post video, image or link
- users can tag other users in their statuses
- display 10 statuses in profile, each with 3 last comments
- load more statuses when clicked on Older statuses or when you scrolled to the bottom of the page
- load more comments when you click on Load more comments
- display avatar and nick in each status and comment
- display how long ago the status or comment was posted

- info tab is divided to Basic info, Education and Work, Philosophy, Entertainment and Activities, Contact Info and Other Info
- Basic info displays: About me, Sex, Interested in, Birthday, Age, Hometown, Location, Languages and Signature
- Education and Work displays: High school, University, Employer, Occupation
- Philosophy displays: Religion, Political views, Favorite quotations
- Entertainment and Activities displays: Interests, Activities, Music, Books, Movies, Games, Foods, Sports you play, Favorite sport teams
- Contact Info displays: Website, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, E-mail address, MSNM/WLM, YIM, AIM, ICQ, Skype, Jabber
- Other Info displays: custom profile fields managed by administrator in ACP

Instant messenger - screenshot
- display your online friends in online list
- display which users are online (activity last 5 minutes) and which are idle (logged in but not active last 5 minutes)
- open chatbox automatically when the message is received
- display smilies and active URLs
- sorting friends in Instant Messenger online list by Friends groups

- sort online friends according your friends groups
- user can log in / log out from Instant Messenger
- user can swith on/off sound via IM online list

- show online friends in online list - click on one of them and open chat box with him
- possibility to search users and find more friends
- show People you may know - friends of your friends
- show Recent discussion - last posts in board
- show board statistics
- show your friend request, requests to events, groups etc (if installed modules groups, events and more)
- possibility to write statuses

Notifications - screenshot - bubble in the left corner
- show bubble message about important actions such as: user has commented on your status, user has commented on status you have commented before, user has sent you a friend request, user has accepted / denied your friend request, user has left a message on your wall, user has sent you an emote etc.
- option to mark Notification as read and delete notification

habe echt Probleme mit dem Update von 0.6.0 nach 0.6.1

So schaut meine Seite nun aus :

Und so, wenn ich mich im ACP einloggen möchte um die install.php auszuführen :

I guess, you did not upgrade from 0.6.0 but from 0.5.1 or 0.5.0, am I right?

This error occures only if you have upgraded from lower version than 0.6.0

Now it is fixed, you can download the package again

No - i did upgrade from 0.6.0 to 0.6.1. I've just tried it again. No way. It doesn't work. Sorry. What can i do ?

Can you uninstall the whole SN using database_update.php and then install it to version 0.6.1 ?
