ich habe mich an !genau! diese Anleitung gehalten wie eingangs erläutert. Trotzdem habe ich es gerade eben nochmal probiert - wieder das gleiche Ergebnis, eine leere weiße Seite beim Aufruf von

Welche PHP-Version hast du auf deinem Server im Einsatz? phpBB 3.2 benötigt mindestens PHP 5.4.

das wird wohl das Problem sein, aktuell läuft 5.3.6 - das habe ich bisher übersehen
Danke für den Hinweis, ich update und probiere es dann wieder.
