Update von 2.0.4 auf 2.0.6

Sorry, ich verstehs net...
Ich habe ein phpBB in der Version 2.0.4 installiert, und weil es ja dringend empfohlen wird das auf 2.0.6 upzudaten wollt ich das jetzt auch mal machen

Meine Frage ist jetzt: Gibt es keine andere Möglichkeit als die Dateien manuell zu ändern / zu ersetzen? Oder mach ich da aus ner Mücke nen Elefanten, und muss nur den neuen phpBB Ordner aus dem Archiv über meinen alten im Webspace kopieren?

also wenn du keine mods drinen hast dann lad das paket runter und update nach der anleitung...

ich habe viele mods installiert.. gibt es eine Anleitung, wie man von 2.04 auf 2.06 updaten kann, ohne dabei die Mods und den Style zu verlieren?

Funktionieren Mods überhaupt in 2.06, die als Mods für 2.04 definiert sind?

du musst entweder manuell updaten

update von 2.04 auf 2.06 ist gut..ich hab mein board "leider" auch vollgestopft mit mods ...gibts nicht eine anleitung von 2.04 direkt auf 2.06?
so manches was ich gesehen habe ist schlicht doppelte arbeit oder?

kennt da jemand einen link dazu?

hi,

ich hab mal folgende frage:

A number of patch files are provided to allow you to upgrade from previous stable releases. Select the correct patch, e.g. if your current version is 2.0.2 you need the phpBB-2.0.2_to_2.0.6.patch. Place the correct patch in the parent directory containing the phpBB 2 core files (i.e. index.php, viewforum.php, etc.). With this done you should run the following command: patch -cl -d [PHPBB DIRECTORY] -p1 < [PATCH NAME] (where PHPBB DIRECTORY is the directory name your phpBB Installation resides in, for example phpBB2, and where PATCH NAME is the relevant filename of the selected patch file). This should complete quickly, hopefully without any HUNK FAILED comments.

To use this you will need command line access to a standard UNIX type patch application.

So sorry leutz aber ich hab echt keine Ahnung von sowas, deshalb würde ich gerne wissen wie ich feststellen kann ob ich diese Möglichkeit besitze?
