was kann ich machen wenn da steht:

aber als nächstes steht da:

Testing selected write method
Testing FTP access...

FTP ERROR: connection to localhost failed.
This error occurs frequently, particularly on hosts like Lycos. Back on step 1 you should try changing the FTP Server from 'localhost' to whatever hostname you typically use when you FTP.

irgendwie kann ich das net installieren,
welche ordner muss ich mit 777 kennzeichnen?
ich hab bei der anleitung durchgelesen, hab aber nicht wirklich was entnehmene können, oder net dir richtige stelle gefunden!

hi,

localhost passt nur, wenn du selber hostest.

trage da die ftp adresse zu deinem server ein (wirst du mal in einer mail von deinem hoster bekommen haben).

FTP ERROR: connection to ftp.mitglied.lycos.de failed.
The FTP Server you have specified could not be connected to. The following is recommended:

1.Have you tried the default setting of localhost? This should be tried first.
2.Did you correctly enter the hostname? Try reentering.
3.Are you sure you have FTP access to the phpBB2 files? Obviously this is a requirement.
4.Some servers have issues with the fsockopen method that EasyMOD attempts to use by default. If you have the PHP FTP extension loaded, then enable that option in step 1.

in der email steht:
bsp

Adresse: http://mitglied.lycos.de/monster/

FTP Adresse: ftp.mitglied.lycos.de

das mit dem ftp.mitglied.lycos.de habe ich dann anstatt localhost eingetragen. funkrioniert trotzdem net!

weiss jetzt nicht , welche version du hast, irgendwo kannst du bei der installation anklicken, dass easymod selber entscheiden soll, was er macht ...

achja noch was, ich hab die automatische einstellung auch schon prbiert, am schluss kam dann sowas

ich meine, es ist echt schade, wenn ich es net installieren kann, da ich bei einigen mods, nicht manula installieren möchte!

sorry, da weiss ich auch nicht weiter ... bei mir klappte es mit der automatischen variante.

btw: bitte editiere deine beiträge, wenn du was vergessen hast. denn das, was du hier (unwissend) machst, heisst topic-bumping (http://www.phpbb.de/doku/kb/artikel.php?artikel=16) und ist nicht so gern gesehen!
