javascript einfügen

Huhu,

kann mir jemand sagen, wie ich am besten ein javascript im overall_header.tpl einfüge, ohne das der beim einbinden versucht die {} durch Template-Variablen zu ersetzen. Das ist nämlich mein grosses Problem, bei einem riesen Script, was die Navigation anzeigt (ja, ich weiss auch, dass das scheisse es, aber ich hab es nicht gemacht, soll es nur einbinden).

Genau wie auch bei posting_body.tpl. Aber es funzt nicht.. der interpretiert es und entfernt ausserdem einige { } aus dem Script.. So das die 1. Zeilen dann z.B. nur noch so aussehen, wenn ich mir den Quelltext anschaue

ich habs jetzt hinbekommen...

Bug schon zu sein, dass er trotz JavaScript {} einfach entfernt... Wenn ich jetzt allerdings { } schreibe lässt er es so und alles scheint zu funktionieren.

ich möchte eine Javascript-Dropdown-Menüleiste in die overall_header.tpl -Datei einbauen/einbinden.

Wenn ich den Javascript mit..

Im normalen HTML-Format, gibt's damit KEINE Probleme. Die Dropdown-Menüleiste wird da korrekt dargestellt, und funkt. auch korrekt mit allen Browsern.

Wo könnte der Fehler sein? Generell anderen PHP-Code verwenden für Anfang/Ende?

Mir würde auch schon wenigstens ein "geht" oder "geht sowieso nicht..." genügen ...

Kann mir wirklich niemand einen Tipp zum obigem Problem geben?
Nochmal: Ob das überhaupt geht mit dem Javascript oder nicht, würde auch schon genügen als - mögliche - Antwort...

Oder vielleicht kann mir jemand einen Hinweis zu einem anderen Dropdown-Menüsystem geben, mit dem ich so ein Ding leichter zum Laufen bringen könnte in der overall_header.tpl -Datei ?
Oder gibt's allgemein eine Alternative zu meinem Vorhaben (Javasscript-Dropdown-Menü im Header) speziell für phpBB?

Ach ja, zu gehen scheint sowas, denn z.B. bei diesem Portal, geht ja auch so ein Ding im Header ...
