Naja, wurden die Hosts auch alle aktiviert? Die inaktiven Accounts sind ja uninteressant, da sie eh gelöscht werden sollten.

Übrigens sind mail.ru und bluebottle.com bereits auf der Liste gewesen. Vielleicht solltest Du mal meinen Mod ausprobieren, wenn Du mit dem Update nicht mehr hinterher kommst.

na ja ganz uninteressant sind die inaktiven auch nicht, man muss ja doch jeden manuell löschen, denn er wird ja immerhin in der Mitgliederliste angezeigt.

dafür gibt es diverse mods, dass du das eben nicht musst. z.b. den admin reminder. ich habe mir den so umgeschrieben, dass ich den automatisch abfahren lasse per cronjob. so brauche ich mich um gar nichts mehr zu kümmern, was die inaktiven accounts anbelangt.

Sorry if i'm writting in english, but i don't know german.

I have make a little phpbb modify to trap the spam users without ban ip, email etc. It is only an experiment and at the moment, it don't stop him but send an email when a spammer try to register a new user. If some one can try it , please tell me how many fake and how many real user has trapped.

In my two forums, it trap 100% of fake users. It work from last night and find more 10 spammers and zero uman.

There was not so easy to modify the files with your script Did't make it sorry.

Do you have a fresh copy of phpbb already modified with your mod
usercp_register.php and subSilver/profile_add_body.tpl available to download?

This file are taken from the original phpbb with subsilver template.

Remember to modify YOURNAME value with other and set your email address in usercp_register.php line 271.

Nice Idea.. but what about users with deactivated javascript.

It is a test. At the moment every one can register new users. In my forums, no real users are trapped, only sthe pammers. Is needed to understand how many persons have js disabled. If this way can work, after is possible redirect to a "new" page. The spam script can't work for new pages at the moment but the uman can finish the registration.
