Frage zu CSS

Hallo,

Ich hatte vor Kurzem, mein Forum durch den CSS-Validatorgejagt, um Fehler zu finden.
Da ich mich auf dem Gebiet "CSS" gleich "0" auskenne, dachte ich mir, ich frage hier mal nach:

Der Validator sagt mir, ich solle einen korrekten Parsebaum verwenden.
Da stellt sich mir die Frage: "Was ist ein Parsebaum?" ^^

Nun meine Frage: Wie muss ein valides CSS denn genau aufgebaut sein?

Ich verstehe, vielen Dank.
Soweit hat das alles geklappt.

Jedoch habe ich noch ein kleines Problem:
Der CSS-Validator gibt mir jetzt folgenden Fehler in der subSilver.css aus:

Code: Alles auswählen

Parse error - Unrecognized : @import url("templates/subSilver/formIE.css");

Weisst Du zufällig, wie ich das behebe bzw. wo da der Fehler liegt?

phpBB3 Olympus soll angeblich by default CSS benutzen.

Der Fehler soll in der letzten Zeile liegen.
Muss ich den Inhalt der formIE.css vielleicht direkt in die subSilver.css kopieren?

schätze der meckert einfach nur weil das nicht standard ist

da sist aber so gewollt, da es nur für den IE seins oll (deswegen nicht einfach in die subSilver.css kopieren

Nur leider ist der @import-Befehl in der Spezifikation von CSS2...

Ich habe gerade in der Spezifikation diese Zeile gefunden:

Alle @import-Regeln müssen allen anderen Regelmengen im Stylesheet vorausgehen.

Sprich: Der @import-Befehl muss an den Anfang deiner Datei.
