Habe noch ein "kleines" Problem. Und zwar kann mein Board keine Emails versenden. Habe das jetzt schon auf 2 Webspaces versucht und bekomme immer andere Fehler. Habe auch 2 SMTP-Server ausprobiert (Lycos & Gmx) nützt auch nix...

kein SMTP:

  keine Meldung, also es geht ganz normal weiter, aber ich bekomme auch keine Mail. Den Test mit einer Mail.php habe ich schon ausprobiert. Kommt auch nix an. Und keine Fehlermeldung.

Wenn ich diesen Trick http://www.phpbb.de/viewtopic.php?t=102 ... =free+smtp ausprobiere, dan kommt bei mir nix anderes.. also irgendwie auch keine Hilfe

Ich hab echt keine Ahnung, was ich jetzt noch machen soll. Hat jemand von euch vllt Erfahrung mit diesen beiden Hostern? Oder kann mir jemand ein paar Free-Hoster empfehlen, bei denen das alles 100%ig klappt? (Muss jetzt nicht unbeding OHost oder so sein. Was kleineres wäre nett )

Wenn jemand auch noch einen Tipp für mich hat bin ich natürlich auch dankbar.

was passiert denn wenn du SMTP komplett deaktivierst?

Tach! Hatte ich doch alles geschrieben. mit SMTP und OHNE SMTP (ganz oben)...

Aber das hat sich eh schon erledigt (man sollte die FAQ's und Ähnliches doch zu erst mal lesen.

Freetopia schreibt das hier in einer gut versteckten FAQ:

To create a working e-mail account you need to have a domain. Having a working domain in your hosting account you will be able to create e-mail accounts by submitting the form in the E-mail Manager menu of your Control Panel.
You can not create an email account with your free subdomain.

Also be informed that free hosting users are not allowed to send emails due to security reasons (spam). Any scripts that send emails will not work as well and SMTP is also disabled.
Our paid hosting plans do not have such restriction.

Somit gibt es also keine Möglichkeit für mich, mit diesem Hoster zu Emailen. Trotzdem danke für die Hilfe
