Ich habe es einmal geschafft phpBB2 deutsch unter localhost zu installieren,seitdem bekomme ich entweder:

phpBB : Kritischer Fehler

Could not connect to the database

oder

beschäftige dich mal damit:

KB:install
KB:install_dialog
KB:could_not_connect

Das Thema wurde bereits im IRC Channel #phpbb.de gelöst.

Wenn man ein default xampp installiert hat, sollte man als Datenbank Benutzernamen "root" und als Passwort "" (nix) benutzen

ihr hattet Recht, wieseo bin ich nicht direkt auf die Idee gekommen,dies ein zugeben, naja
