Kommerzielle Nutzung des phpbb erlaubt?

Also ich habe vor kostenplfichtiges Foren-Hosting zu eröffnen. Also man meldet sich an, zahlt einen Betrag und ich richte das Forum ein und der User kann es dann auf meinem Server verwenden.
Darf ich das mit dem phpbb? Brauch ich da eine spezielle Linzenz? Kostet die was? Wo bekomme ich die?
Wäre schön wenn mir jemand Antworten würde! *g*

..sofern Du das (c) unten im Footer stehen lässt, und das Board nicht als Dein eigenes ausgibst, kannst machen was Du willst.

Wir sind ja nicht wie die bei Burning Board die für ihr Board Geld haben wollen

Also darf ich das phpbb2 als kommerziellen Nutzen benutzen wenn ich unten das (C) dran lasse (was ja klar ist)?
Dann hab ich gleich nochmal ne Frage wenn ich schon das Thread hier offen habe:
Gibt es eine möglichkeit (also ein Mod/Hack) mit dem ich einem User Adminfunktionen geben kann er aber an dem Forum keine DB-Backup und keine DB-Wiederherstellung machen kann?
Wie schon gesagt will ich das Board als Foren-Hosting Service verwenden und dann soll natürlich meine Datenbank geschützt werden und so. Kann jemand meine FTP und MySQL Daten (Pass und so) sehen wenn er kein FTP Zugriff sondern nur AdminPanel (beim phpbb) zugriff hat?

hmm... ich kenn einen Mod, aber habe ihn noch nie ausprobiert und weiss daher nicht wie er genau funktioniert:
Supermoderator Hack
Erlaubt dem Admin, einen "Super Moderator" zu bestimmen, der bestimmte Admin Funktionen übernehmen kann - Allows the Administrator to add a 'Super Moderator' with restricted administrative controls.

da sich um die footer-zeile immer mal wieder diskussionen drehen hier eine zusammenstellung der offiziellen statements:
May I remove the copyright from the footer?
While the phpbb group would appreciate it, if you would let the copyright message stay, you actually may remove it. However you will not get any official support from the phpbb group or the support team.
May I edit the copyright message in the footer?
Yes, as long as you leave the "meaning" of it intact (who the copyright holders are,.....). In this case you are also entitled to receive official support from the phpbb group and the support team.
May I add my own copyright message?
Yes, provided that you do not merge your message with the official one in anyway. Nothing likeQuote:

May I remove the copyright from the source code?
Simple answer, no
To quote some statements from the phpbb group psoTFX:
We'd prefer you to retain the full copyright message as displayed by the default board configuration. If you cannot do this (for good reason) we will be happy with just the "Powered by phpBB" notice (phpBB being linked to
www.phpbb.com ). If you do not display even this (which includes moving the notice to a separate credits page) we will not be able to offer support (the same stance has been taken by most if not all other phpBB related sites).

As has been stated previously, removal of the phpBB Copyright (from within the file: page_footer) is within your -full- right. However, you will get no official 'support' from the phpBB Community.
It is not infringment, as the GPL does -not- cover this. It does not, however, give anybody the right to remove the Copyright from the CORE-CODE. So, again, you may remove the Copyright from the footer-file, but you may not remove it from the core-code.
