mal testweise die .htaccess aus dem root verzeichnis geloescht und getestet ob du dann was angezeigt bekommst ?
ansonsten wie schon aurora876 schrieb, vertrauensvoll an deinen Hoster wenden damit er mal in die Server logs schaut.

auch mal wenn der Server von dir ist in die error logs geschaut was die 500 error genau heisst bzw. ausloest ?
