Hallo,

ich verwende phpBB3 in Version 3.0.12 mit einem modifizierten Avalon Green Style.

Ich hätte gerne ein Bild in den Background eingefügt und es positioniert. Leider lässt sich die Position der Grafik nicht verändern.

Ja das ist das Liveboard. Da sind Background und Logo in einem jpg verschmolzen. Die unschöne Holzhammermethode.

Ich hätts aber gerne getrennt um flexibler zu sein.

Ok ich versuchs mal.

Also das ist das Liveboard http://forum.so-bundesliga.de. Bisher haben wir einfach sowohl Hintergrundbild, als auch Logo in ein jpg gepackt und einfach als page_bg.jpg eingebaut.
Nun möchte ich beides trennen und das Logo separat einbinden. Die hab ich mit den Codes in meinem ersten Post versucht und als Ergebnis kam eben das oben gepostete Bild raus. Die Einbindung hab ich dabei zwischen "body class" und "div id body" gemacht.

Liegt es dann nicht außerhalb der Seite? Soll das so sein?
Probier mal das aus: füge in deinen Code fürs image position: absolute; ein. Vielleicht bewegt sich das Bild dann.

Das Bild liegt jetzt da wo ichs haben möchte, aber den Rest schiebts mir nach unten. Ich find einfach die Einstellung um den Body hochzuschieben nicht.

Ändere mal hier den Wert bei top. Mach mal aus 285px 85 px oder noch weniger.
