Easy Mod installer problem

also mein forum ist auf tripod gehostet ich habe ihn richtig hochgeladen und die installation ausgeführt aber beim zweiten schritt kommt dann diese meldung!
Step 2 (of 5): EasyMOD is now confirming your file access settings.
Testing selected write method
Testing FTP access...
FTP ERROR: connection to localhost failed.
This error occurs frequently, particularly on hosts like Lycos. Back on step 1 you should try changing the FTP Server from 'localhost' to whatever hostname you typically use when you FTP.

Hi
da stimmt was nicht mit den Zugangsdaten ....
Da bei Lycos solche Probleme öfters auftreten ... überprüfe die Einstellungen nochmal und vergleiche sie mit den Einstellungen in deinem FTP-Programm die müssen identisch sein ....
Einfach nochmal versuchen ...

Ich bin mir eigentlich ziemlich sicher, dass das bei Tripod nicht funktioniert. Soweit ich weiß haben die ftp in php komplett verboten.

aber was soll ich da jetz eingeben ich heisse dort bei lycos blubi12

File Access Info sagt:
File Access Info
Let's see what you have for file access. You do not need everything to read 'ok'.
read access :: OK
write access :: OK
root path write :: No
chmod access :: OK
unlink access :: OK
mkdir access :: OK
tmp path write :: No
FTP extension :: OK
Safe Mode :: ON
copy access :: OK
Heißt das das PHP-Ftp vom Hoster nicht unterstützt wird?
Per FTP komm ich gan normal auf die Daten, kann auch CHMODs angeben
