Brauche Hilfe mit dem board

Hi Leute,

ich benutze ein Board von euch in einem Frameset.
Allerdings kann ist das Forum zu breit für den Frame
und man muss immer nach rechts und links scrollen.

Wie kann ich die Forumsbreite verändern ???

2tes Problem : Manche USer von meinem Board werden automatisch
ausgeloggt, whärend sie eine nachricht schreiben, obwohl sie sich 5 sekunden früher gerade mal eingeloggt haben. Woran liegt dass ???

So habe hier in Forum gesucht unjd nur zweu Threads zu diesem Thema finden können,
diesen hier und einen in dem es um den Zeilenumbruch im Text geht, was weniger mein Anliegen ist.

Wie kann ich die Forumsbreite fest anpassen,
bisher habe ich es so das sich die Breite der Auflösung anpasst,
so das ich immer die volle Breite des Monitors vom Forum ausgenutzt habe.
Möchte aber nun aus optischen Gründen die Breite auf, sagen wir mal 800Pixel fest einstellen!

Geht das und wenn Ja - wie und wo mache ich das bitte........?

Definiere doch einfach einen DIV-Container in der css-Datei zum Template und füge den entsprechend in overall_header.tpl und overall_footer.tpl ein.

Sollte gehen.

Sorry da weiß ich leider nicht wie sowas geht...DIV-Container = Bahnhof!

Dachte es gäbe da ne einfache Möglichkeit durch ändern einer .tpl-Datei?

Öffne einfach die Datei :

subSilver.css

im Ordner /templates/.

Füge hinzu :

Code: Alles auswählen

div.container { 
width: 800px; 
}

Öffne deine overall_header.tpl und füge nach dem <body>-Tag hinzu:

<div class="container">

Öffne deine overall_footer.tpl und füge vor dem </body>-Tag hinzu:

Code: Alles auswählen

</div>

Alles hochladen, und schon sollte es gehen.

Vorher nicht vergessen, Backups der Dateien zu machen

Hallo
Um das komplette board in eineTabelle mit definierter Breite zu legen musst du folgendes machen:

In der overall_header.tpl direkt nach dem <body>-tag eine neue Zeile mit

Code: Alles auswählen

<table align="center" width="800px"><tr><td>

einfügen und diese Tabelle in der overall_footer.tpl,
direkt vor dem </body>-tag, mit

Code: Alles auswählen

</td></tr></table>

wieder schliessen. Anstelle der 800px kannst du natürlich auch andere Werte benutzen (auch Prozentangaben).

Super...hatte jetzt nur mal die Empfehlung von Mahony ausprobiert...funktioniert wunderbar...danke!

Habe die feste Breite von 1024Pixel genommen.
Dadurch ist jetzt der Header und die Foren aber auch fest geworden,
sprich sie passen sich nicht mehr an wenn ich das Fenster verkleinere...obwohl noch latz dazu wär.

Kann man das noch irgendwie umgehen? Wenn nicht...auch egal.

Ich habe ja geschrieben:

Du kannst also auch 80% (oder 70% oder so wie du möchtest ) eintragen.

obwohl der code richtig ist will das forum im inframe nich kleiner werden. rufe ich das forum unter direkt link auf isses kleiner

Zuerst einmal solltest du so große Dateien als Text-Dateien verlinken und nicht den gesamten Code hier posten. Das macht das Topic unübersichtlich.

Dann zu deinem Problem.

Du musst in der overall_header.tpl direkt nach dem <body>-tag eine neue Zeile mit
