It is not possible to add a user to an event by admin or moderator. This is also not wanted. The user, by means of his entry, declares whether he is participating in the event. It makes no sense that this makes an admin. For this reason I will not change that.

How can I add people to an event as admin?

I cannot see a setting that will allow me to do this. I create the event, but cannot add people to it.
