Eigentlich sql3 aber daran hab ich seit der Installation nix mehr verändert und das Forum läuft jetzt schon ne Woche. Wie kann ich denn da dran?

In der config.php mysql4 auf mysql umändern.

Ähm und mit welchen Programmen öffne ich php.Dateien?

Mit jedem beliebigem Texteditor, z.B. notepad oder wie dieses WIndow-Teil auch immer heißt
