EasyMod

[Killer-Man]

Ich hab mir den EasyMod besorgt und alle Dateien hochgeladen.
Wenn ich jetzt die easymod_install.php ausführe und zu dem Schritt komme, wo man den FTP Server eingeben muss, gebe ich natürlich localhost ein und tippe das restliche ein. Wenn ich dann abschließen will kommt diese Meldung:

FTP ERROR: connection to localhost:21 failed.
This error occurs frequently, particularly on hosts like Lycos. Back on step 1 you should try changing the FTP Server from "localhost" to whatever hostname you typically use when you FTP.

Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen?



*edit* hab mich schon beim Webhoster nach dem Database Server Hostname / DSN informiert -> ist localhost

Versuch es mal mit den Domainnamen, erst dann hatte es bei mir Funktioniert

Hab ich gemacht, doch dann stand da das ich den falschen FTP Port (war dort standardmäßig 21) eingegeben hätte. Also hab ich einfach stattdessen 80 eingegeben. Dann kam diese Meldung:

The connection failed because it appears you have provided an invalid FTP Server port. Ports must only contain the numbers 0 through 9. Try reentering the FTP Port field.

The FTP Server you have specified could not be connected to. The following is recommended:

Have you tried the default settings of localhost for the hostname and 21 for the port? These should be tried first. 
Did you correctly enter the hostname? Try reentering. 
Are you sure you have FTP access to the phpBB2 files? Obviously this is a requirement. 
Some servers have issues with the fsockopen method that EasyMOD attempts to use by default. If you have the PHP FTP extension loaded, then enable that option in step 1.
