bei der installation der version 208 bekomme ich diese meldung, wenn ich die erste seite der installation ausgefüllt habe.

Could not connect to the database
db-name, -user und-pwd habe ich nach den angaben meines providers und korrekt mehrfach eingegeben...
was kann ich da machen?

ja, es ist mysql 4...
ich könnte auch schwören, dass ich bei der letzten installation vor einiger zeit bei localhost und so geblieben bin...
dieses testprogramm hat folgenden output:
