Ich habe hier in einen Thread gelesen das er recht gut sein soll.
Nun habe ich mir das teil runtergeladen und mal installiert.
Soweit haben meine Englischkenntnisse noch gereicht
Ich habe mir auch für den chat das dazugehörige addon für die integration ins phpbb 2.0.10 runtergeladen.
Leider steh ich hier etwas mit dem englisch an.
Hat die Installation schon jemand mal gemacht?
Da ich in php nicht allzu fit bin, und ich froh bin eine Deutsche Installanleitung hinbekommen, bin ich wohl oder übel auf etwas hilfe angewiesen.
habt ihr erfahrung mit dem chat?
wie findet ihr ihn?
In groben versteh ich ich was in der Anleitung steht, doch es ist mir zu riskant da einen fehler zu machen und falsche daten zu löschen.
Hier ist mal der text:
Installation instructions
-------------------------
1. Copy the directory 'Chat' from this archive into the directory
where phpBB has been installed.
NOTE: If you have previous version of PCPIN Chat installed, then
overwrite all files with new ones from this archive.
2. Set ALL permissions (chmod 777) for the chat root directory.
Also set the same permissions for the directories:
/userphotos
/chatlogs
3. Point your browser to file 'install.php' and follow onscreen
instructions.
4. To start the chat, use this link:
<a href="path_to_chat_dir">Chat</a>
NOTE: All PCPIN Chat rooms and users with their profiles are stored at
the database. If you have previous version of PCPIN Chat installed,
then you will get promted to delete PCPIN Chat users and rooms from
database. You can either keep or delete them.
NOTE: After installation been finished, 'install.php' creates the file
named 'ppp.php'. The purpose of that file is to prevent
'install.php' from starting again. If you will need to start
'install.php' again, then you have to delete file 'ppp.php'.
Vielleicht könnte einer in stichwörtern sagen was genau zum tun ist.
