Anforderungen

Die Installation von phpBB 2.0.x setzt das folgende voraus:
* ein Webserver oder Webaccount
* SQL-Datenbank-System, zur Auswahl:

# MySQL 3.22 oder höher (4.x)
# PostgreSQL 7.0.3 oder höher (7.1/7.2)
# MS SQL Server (7 or 2000, direkt oder via ODBC)

* PHP (3.x oder besser noch 4.x) mit Support für die Datenbank muß in den Webserver eingebunden sein.

Erkundigen Sie sich VOR der Installation bei Ihrem Provider, ob die genannten Anforderungen erfüllt werden und besorgen Sie folgende Daten:


* FTP-Zugangsdaten: Host, Benutzername, Passwort (zum Upload)
* SQL-Zugangsdaten: (Bei mySQL: Host, Benutzername, Kennwort, Datenbankname) (zum DB-Zugriff)
