Easymod installieren

beim installieren versag ich schon bei schritt 1 -.-

das ist die fehlermeldung wenn ich bei ftp Server localhost eintrage:

FTP ERROR: connection to localhost failed.
This error occurs frequently, particularly on hosts like Lycos. Back on step 1 you should try changing the FTP Server from 'localhost' to whatever hostname you typically use when you FTP.

und das ist die fehlermeldung wenn ich bei ftp Server den von funpic zugewiesenen link zum ftp server eintrage (balrok.ba.funpic.de)

1. Have you tried the default setting of localhost? This should be tried first.
2. Did you correctly enter the hostname? Try reentering.

4. Some servers have issues with the fsockopen method that EasyMOD attempts to use by default. If you have the PHP FTP extension loaded, then enable that option in step 1.

ich kann mir auch vorstellen dass es an dem

FTP path to phpBB2

liegt da hab ich "forum/" (ohne " )eingetragen da das der hauptordner ist wo die ganzen forendateien drinne sind

ich hoffe das ich dsa verständlich beschrieben hab^^
ansonsten einfach nochmal nachfragen

edit: achja hab phpbb 2.0.14 und den neuesten easymod(ich glaub 0.0.13 oder so)

ja klar aber das ist ja auch nicht so tiefgreifend dass es mir jetzt sagt was ich bei ftp server oder ftp path eintragen soll

oder kann der fehler vielleicht sein weil ich hinter einem router sitze?

Hast Du funktionierenden FTP-Zugriff auf Deinen Webspace mittels FTP-Programm ?

also ich kann dir nur sagen wie es bei mir war:

mein Forum liegt auf ....funpic.de/GATE/index.php

und ich habe eingegeben: /GATE

ja und name und passwort hab ich bei der installation auch ordentlich eingetragen

mit den Info's die ich aus Deinen Posting's herausgelesen habe, müssten dann die Einstellungen so lauten :

FTP-Pfad zu phpBB2..-> /
FTP-Benutzername....-> Dein Geheimnis
FTP-Passwort............-> Dein Deheimnis
FTP Server.................-> localhost

localhost und balrok.ba.... nehm ich da auch (siehe letztes posting von mir hab ich noch ein bild reingetan)
